Margaret was invited to Homecoming, so she had some company last night at the football game (good guys won 21-14). Now comes fashion day, including a pretty dress, dinner out with friends, and then the dance. Darned cool for the freshman.

This summer camp sounds perfect for an emerging writer I know in Katy.

     "Campers will then rotate between the three teams to interpret and transform the science fiction story into one of three media formats: 1) Comics (sequential art, creative writing, inking) with comic artist Lin Lucas, or 2) video game story design and animation with gamer Isaac Borkowski. In the afternoons everyone will have an opportunity to work with one of the other teachers or a guest teacher.

If I had the chance to go to the Science Fiction Museum, I'd be babysitting like crazy to earn enough cash for the gift shop. This and many others sound like the perfect way to spend Summer 2006. Thanks to Wired magazine for the tip.
