Yahoo is no longer serving up my daily dose of 9 Chickweed Lane. Look at this interesting information about the artist, McEldowney . No wonder I like him.

He then went to New York City's Juilliard School where he studied the viola, drew in the margins of his orchestral music, and graduated with a bachelor's and a master's degree in music. He also studied and performed at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, where he again drew in the margins of his orchestral music. Once out in the work force, McEldowney labored concurrently as a professional violist, music critic and cartoonist. His music articles and reviews have appeared in numerous magazines as well as the Neue Zurcher Zeitung in Zurich, Switzerland. He was the assistant editor of Opus, a classical music magazine.
